Conrad Simms is the Senior Portfolio Manager in the Reserves Management Department at the Bank of Jamaica where he oversees the strategic allocation and management of the country’s foreign exchange reserves. With over 20 years of dedicated experience in central banking and financial markets his core focus is on ensuring the liquidity, security, and return of the portfolio to support Jamaica's monetary policy and economic stability. His expertise encompasses: • Designing and executing investment strategies to optimize Bank’s Reserves portfolios. • Asset Allocation, Risk management and quantitative analysis. • Navigating global fixed income and currency markets. Conrad is committed to upholding the highest standards of fiscal prudence and contributing to the economic strength and sovereignty of Jamaica to safeguard her economic future. He holds a Master's in Banking and Finance (University of Birmingham) and actively contributes to industry forums and academic dialogues on sovereign asset management and geo-economics trends
