Biography

Arnab Das is a Global Economic Counsellor and Global Macro Strategist at Invesco, based in London. In this role, he engages with institutional and official investors, governments, and other official institutions on economics, policy, and markets, as well as with Invesco investment teams. Mr. Das joined Invesco in 2015 as head of EMEA and emerging market macro research for the Fixed Income team. Prior to joining the firm, he has served as co-head of research at Roubini Global Economics, co-head of global economics and strategy, head of foreign exchange and emerging markets (EM) research at Dresdner Kleinwort, and head of EMEA research at JP Morgan. He has worked closely with governments, central banks, international institutions, and private-sector investors, both as market participants and policymakers. Mr. Das began his career in the financial industry in 1992. Mr. Das received an AB degree from Princeton University and a PhD from the London School of Economics. His research interests include economics, economic and financial history, global macro, geopolitics and geoeconomics.
