“President of the Central Reserve Bank of El Salvador (BCR) since 2020. He has led projects that have transformed the financial system, driving the modernization of payment systems, the digitalization and the expansion of access to financial services for the population. In the field of statistics, he has led far-reaching national projects such as the VII Population Census and VI Housing Census, the first to be carried out completely digitally in the country. He holds a Bachelor Degree in Public Accounting and a Master Degree in Public Finance and Financial and Tax Administration, the latest from the Institute for Fiscal Studies of Spain.”
