Biography

Yuri Habibe Jorge serves as Auditor in the Sustainability & International Portfolio Investors Unit at the Banco Central do Brasil (BCB), contributing to the transversal sustainability intelligence efforts of the institution. His work supports the BCB’s sustainable agenda, with a particular focus on the integration of technology, environmental climate-modeling, and policy implementation. With a decade of experience at the Bank, Yuri has dedicated the past six years to advancing environmental initiatives, participating in key forums such as the G20s Sustainable Finance Working Group (SFWG) and the Laboratory of Financial and Technological Innovations (LIFT). Yuri holds a BA and a MA in Economics.
