Biography
Fabiola Ravazzolo is a capital markets and policy advisor in the Domestic and International Markets function of the Trading Desk of the Markets Group at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York. In her role, Fabiola leads analyses in global markets and investments, to inform the formulation and implementation of monetary policy and financial stability. In recent years, her internal as well as externally published work has primarily focused on the analysis of global dollar funding markets and effects of the Federal Reserve’s international dollar facilities, including the central bank swap lines. Fabiola also leads work on understanding developments in the international usages of the dollar and of central bank monetary policy frameworks. Fabiola joined the New York Fed in 2006, and she has held multiple roles in the Markets Group. Before joining the New York Fed, Fabiola worked at the European Central Bank and at a private asset management company. Fabiola first studied economics at Ca’ Foscari University in Venice, Italy, and later received her Ph.D. in Finance from Bayes Business School, London, U.K.
