- Biography
- Mr. Martinelli leads front-office teams overseeing international reserves and local foreign exchange operations. He plays a key role in tactical and strategic asset allocation and provides broad support to department leadership across a range of management and policy-related initiatives. With over 24 years of experience at BCB, Mr. Martinelli was Advisor and head of the Investment Division where he has previously worked as a trader, strategist, and portfolio manager across multiple fixed income desks, covering the US, Europe, Canada, Japan, Australia, China, and Emerging Markets. He previously spent two years as an economic assistant at the House of Representatives. Mr. Martinelli holds a Ph.D. in Economics and possesses extensive experience in portfolio management, macroeconomics, and finance.
